Natural Amethyst

Does anyone know of any reputable websites to find natural amethyst?

I did google it but I do not which websites are legit or not. I would like a natural amethyst gemstone for my girlfriends engagement ring. I’ve been to local jewelers but most of them say their stones have been heat treated in some way. The man at Kay’s looked offended that I would even ask. Some stores could not confirm if their stones have or haven’t been treated.
